I have installed both Oracle 32 and 64 bit on the Development Sandbox and successfully working WSP was prepared. When we tried to deploy this solution to QA environment and Execute the same, it throws an exception "Could not load file or assembly Oracel.DataAccess" with 4 part assembly details. Investigating further, we came to know that 32 bit Oracele installation was Missing. Only 64 bit Oracel was installed.
My Question is - "Is this the real cause for this exception ?? Also, Visual Studio during design time requires 32 bit client for deploying - AGREED, whereas sharePoint as such is 64 bit. When we deployed WSP in different environment with 64 bit Oracle client via powershell command and run the application, we land up in this trouble. Why ?? Can anyone provide more insight on this. It is HIGH Priority..."
