Upload Multiple Documents vs Single Document

Hello, 

There are any way using Event receivers itemAdding or other one tho know if the file(s) on uploading are just one document or multiple documents. 

If the user use "Open in browse" and upload multiple documents, i want write something in a column,  if the user just did a upload a single document,  not using this method it write other thing.
