How to upgrade SharePoint Designer 2010 workflow with a Visual Studio 2010 workflow with same GUID?

Hi, I have had an SPD 2010 workflow for many years - which we redid in Visual Studio 2010 workflow and have a WSP now.

Is it possible to upgrade the SPD workflow by this VS Workflow? (Just like we normally do for VS workflows?).
