Has anyone noticed that New Discussion Threads don't seem to get logged in the SharePoint 2010 Site Collection audit log? I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong or not.
I have all the auditing settings turned on:
I create a new discussion thread and run the audit log report: Nothing but "views". I even see the view of the form that I filled out to create the discussion thread. No "update" though. Then I create a response to the discussion thread and I see three updates: one for the list, one for the item, and one for the document. It looks like this:
I don't get it. Why is there nothing for the creation of the discussion thread. Only responses
