Add Exisiting Site Columns and Content Types to Library via PowerShell

Hi all,

I have come across a lot of information for adding (creating) new Site Columns within a Library/List via PowerShell, but I need to add existing Site Columns created at the Site Collection or Sub Site level to Libraries and Lists. I would also be nice to add existing Content Types to Libraries and Lists.

Can anyone provide some direction?
