Create default groups when a new site is created

Hi,

Is it possible to have a custom code (to create default groups) that will run when new sites from a site definition are created?



I have a site definition CompanyArea, whenever the admin creates a CompanyArea site within a site collection, I need to create some groups (ex: if site name is Area1, I need to create group Operational1-Area1).
