delete custom computed field from sharepoint list

Hi ,

i have added a custom field to a sharepoint list using a event receiver feature  following this article : http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Server/MS-SharePoint/Q_24195358.html  

Now i want to desinstall this field entirely from the site so that it does'nt appear in the list of field when we change view of the list.

How to accomplish my goal ?
