Region relative/aware content

Hello,

I am trying to make my SharePoint content location aware . For example, if user "A" resides in New York, it will display content that relates to New York. Likewise, if user "B" resides in Dallas, it will display content relating to Dallas.

One way I thought this could work, is if somehow SharePoint can be aware of an attribute stored in Active Directory, namely, the end user's location. If I this is possible, I think it could get the job done.

Any solutions or other methods of achieving this?
