Rich Text box field with Ribbon controls

Hello,

I am venturing into SharePoint development and currently I am having problems on implementing a custom application page.

I would like to add a Rich Text Box field on my custom application page, is it possible to implement or is there a control in SharePoint 2010 that allows you to mimic the Rich Text Box field of the Edit Properties page wherein you get the Formatting buttons in the ribbon?
