Sharepoint designer 2010 and Visio 2013

I am trying to exchange workflows using VMI format between Sharepoint Designer 2010 and Visio 2013.

I installed the Visio 2013 professional and I was unable to import a .vmi file from Sharepoint Designer
2010.   
I tried to export a very basic Sharepoint 2010 Workflow from the trial version of
Visio 2013 in the .vwi format. It does not give me an error but I find no file
in the destination folder – so it is not creating the .vwi file from within
Visio 2013 either…. 

All these worked in sharepoint Desinger 2010 and Visio 2010. IS there a change in Vsio 2013?

Any ideas suggestions?
