SharePoint 2010 Upload function

Hello guys,

I've got a question. Is in SharePoint any function to upload certain documents (Word,Excel, PDF) that will automatically sort them into the right lists?

E.g. you have different Document Libraries and it will sort it by project name. Is this possible out of the box? Or is there an index function?
