List Workflow "Copy list item"-action does not copy all fields.

Hi,

I'm using SharePoint Designer with SharePoint Server 2010 and want to copy a list item inside a single list.

My list contains some items of a single content type. Now i want to create a exact copy of one of these items to the same list it is already in.

I'm using SharePoint designer and the copy list item action to achive this.

The item is copied correctly except one field. This field is a custom field type which derives from SPFieldUrl type. Nothing but the rendering control was changed in the custom field type to customize the view.

My list items may have attachments, therefore i'm not able to use the create list item action. The create item action does not allow to attach files to the created item.

Have someone faced this behavior before and could help with this issue?
