Updated event not working with inline editing and current user filter

Hi

     I am using updated event in one of my share point custom list , I enabled inline editing, but after enabling current user filter updated event not working, it is making the values in the item reverting back to the old values. If i disconnected the connection between filter web part and my custom list, then updated event working even with inline editing also, but the same scenario working in Dev environment with out any issue. configuration features everything same in Dev and prod environment. Does any one have idea, what could the cause for this behavior.
