Hi,
I have a workflow in SharePoint 2010 which runs on a document library. The workflow (build using SharePoint designer) allows a users to select a document and once they have read it, add data to another list (read list) to record that they have read the document in question.
Todo this i have build a list workflow (document library) which creates a new list items in the (read list). The only data it needs is which document the user has selected or started the workflow from.
This works however read only users can start this workflow which was the main idea. I wondered if someone could help me get round this issue another way.
