How can I dynamically set Group By default grouping to Collapsed with C#

I created a C# console application that populates a SharePoint 2010 List with items from an excel document.
The application also applies permissions and creates multiple views.  Everything is working great except one small thing.

One view contains all the items in the excel document and these items are grouped but the list is by default, expanded and I want the SPView that I am working with to show the groupings by default as collapsed.

Does anyone have insight on how I might be able to do this programmatically with C#?
