SharePoint 2010 Custom Ribbon Actions remain even after Remove-SPSolution

I have a customer who has installed my solution on their test farm to check it out.

When they remove the solution using "Remove-SPSolution"

The buttons still remain.

Any guesses as to why SharePoint will keep the buttons even though the solution should be undeployed from the farm?
