Java script Error - '__doPostBack' is null or undefined

Hi,

I am getting following error when i am trying to run SharePoint 2010 site on IE 10.

SCRIPT5007: The value of the property '__doPostBack' is null or undefined, not a Function object 

When i change browser mode to IE10 Compatible view all works well, even it is working on other modern browsers ie. Mozilla and Chrome.

I have gone through few articles and it seems to be a common issue but unfortunately  MS Hot fix didn't work on my environment.

Please let me know what can be done to get rid of this issue.
