Performancepoint (PPS) Dimension and Member configuration

Hi,

I am trying to create a dashboard based on and excel services tabular data source. When I try adding filters, the "SELECT MEMBER" in the add Dimension window only shows the first instance in the data source table. 

I have even tried to use a SP list with the same issue. I have followed this example:

but when I reach the point:

Select members -> Check the Check box and press Select Dimension and Choose year

My choice list is not a tree view of the possible values. My SELECT MEMBERS only has the first instance of the possible values from the SP list that I created.

Any ideas?
