page permissions using javascript

hi friends

i have SharePoint group which contains 50 users

these 50 users are from 3 departments(which means their user profile contains department entity)

i am able to give permissions to this SharePoint group using JavaScript but my problem is i need to give permission to only one department people who are in this SharePoint group.
