Event receiver not firing in production server

Hi,

I have created event receiver in development environment with the following event receiver settings.

• What type of event receiver do you want? - List Item Events
• What item should be the event source? - Custom List
• Handle events - An item is being added

Event receiver is working fine for all custom lists in development environment.

Issue: When i deploy the same event receiver solution file in production server, it is not firing item adding event.

What are the configuration steps needs to be performed in production server?
