SharePoint Mega Menu Navigation

Ok - after researching FOR HOURS the best (easier for the end user) solution I have found is here: http://www.n8d.at/blog/build-a-flexible-mega-drop-down-navigation-for-sharepoint/

However, I already have a master page that I tweaked and it is based on twitter bootstrap. It appears there is conflict with getting the above to work. I do not know enough about scripting to figure out what exactly the problem is. :/

Does anyone know of a solution that would work with twitter bootstrap for SP2010? I hate to go back to the end user and tell them that "sorry but you cannot have your mega menu option if you want to use any parts of SP navigation." (FYI: I did find the solution that has two lists then pulls from them but you are basically bypassing the entire SP navigation for the main site anyway (which in the end is not a total fail) but I was hoping to have it easier as these users are not technical at all.

Ideas? Suggestions? Much appreciated!
