hi,
in our production farm we use document library templates. It takes quite a bit of time to set up a library the way we want it with content types, views, settings etc. So what we have done is save our document library as a template, download it to our desktop and used this template all over our farm (in different site collections). What i want to know is this: Is this a supported thing to do and will i run into problems with these llibraries. I seem to be having client side issues with these libraries. I have some non-microsoft (multiple) clients which are trying to access the Webs.asmx web service. When I look at the sharepoint logs i see entries like (see below). This only happens when i create libraries from templates. So if this is not supported how do i "fix" my exisistng libraries so that they will play well with client apps trying to access the web services or do you think it could be a bug in the client apps themselves (perhaps they should not be putting the name of the document library in the web service URL) (in this example the name of the doc. library is "testautobahn"
