Custom Page Layout

Hi all,

I have two libraries-Library1(pages) and library2(custom lib) in a publishing site. I am copying file from lib1 to lib2 with metadata (Effective date & End date). So when i open this file in lib2, the page layout should contain metadata(Effective date& End Date). How can I add this effective date & end date in the pagelayout (along with page content field) in lib2. 

lib1 pagelayout--Title & Page Content

lib2 pagelayout--Title,Effective date, End Date, Page Content

Please guide me.
