Hi All,
We face issue in publishing our Access data into SharePoint 2013. This error occurs only when publishing it for thesecond time.
Environment: SharePoint 2013, Logged In User: Has full control to the site.
1.
Scenario:
1. We have two site collections, one has the Access database.
2. Open MS Access 2013 -> "Database Tools" -> "SharePoint" -> <Provide the Site URL from where we want the access database to be created>
3. Select the list that need to be created as a table.
4. Publish the data, it will get published successfully.
5. Now connect the other site collection using the "External Data". In the provide the second site collection URL, and select "Link to the data source by creating a linked table" and click next.
6. That opens as popup to select the list, select any list and click ok.
7. On the top bar click the "Save to SharePoint site" button. It opens a popup to save the file to the corresponding site, click save.
8. The publishing will be completed successfully.
Error Scenario:
1. Now select the same file that was previously published, try to make some changes and click "Save to SharePoint site" button this will throw the above error.
Note:
1. This works fine in other environments. We get this error only on a specific environment and that too when publishing for the second time.
