Problem with schema.xml file and German UMLAUTE (ä, ö, ü) after creating a SiteCollection from WebSite template in Visual Studio 2010 SP1

Hi

I have a problem to see UMLAUTE (ä, ö, ü). I have created in Visual Studio 2010 SP1 from a WebSite Template a SiteCollection Template Solution. But if I deploy the Farm Solution and create a new Site Collection based on that Template I see for ä that  Ã¤ for example:   "Geändert von"  is "Geändert von". I checked the schema.xml files for the ListInstances and changed the encoding with notepad++ from "UTF-8" to "UTF-8 without BOM" but it was not helping. So I changed ä to ä and it was working.

But what a pain to do that manually  for a lot of schema.xml files.

I heard that you need to have the SharePoint 2010 CU August 2011 installed that would maybe fix the problem but thats not working.

Server is a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise with SP1 and the newest CU from April 2013.

Visual Studio 2010 with SP1. Whole environment is GERMAN include Windows Server 2008 R2.

I tested the WebSite Template and its okay. The Problem has something to do with Visual Studio ... I guess ;(

Any helpful ideas are mostly appreciated ;-)
