How To Get User ID Type ( Person / Security Group / Sharepoint Group ) from the user information list.

Hi

I  have a requirement where we need to fetch the all the users having access to any site in a sitecollection. User information list available is site collection (_catalogs/users/detail.aspx) contains the required information. But is there any way to query specfic category of users? i.e users of type person / SharePoint Group / Security Group). If so please suggest.
