programmatically propagate variations

Hi,

I wanted to find out if there is anyway to have a batch of pages being propagated to the target labels at once. Our scenario is that we have disabled automatic propagation and now the users must click on Update in the publishing pages to update the pages to the corresponding variation. I understand that clicking on Update adds the page as a work item to the variation propagate pages timer job queue. Is there anyway we can programmatically add pages to the variation propagate pages timer job queue? We are looking to add batches of pages to the queue at once instead of clicking update in each page one at a time. Can anyone please help?
