How to export a data table to Excel 2010 for a web application?

Hi,

I am developing a sharepoint application where i need a Export to Excel feature for a datatable.

The am able to export the data to Excel 2003 format (.xls) but my requirement is to be able to open it in Office 2010.

Please suggest me how to implement this Export to Excel in Office 2010.

This is very urgent.
