I need to create a Workflow Action and I got couple of links that I think I can use to get started. However, here lies the problem or at least I don't know how to code or accomplish. Any links or light on this would really help.

The main idea to take 2 parameters and pass it onto a executable that is on SharePoint server (I can put it in all WFEs and APP server since they all are running SP Foundation Workflow Timer Job). I can use this from powershell or dos cmdlet and this is how I would use the tool c:\TransformsToPDF\convert.exe c:\sourcefile\source.xls c:\destfile\dest.pdf
Is there a way I can accomplish this behavior from workflow action?
